Job Description: The AIMS Group is seeking to add a summer associate to the Real Estate Investment Group (REIG). REIG is seeking a highly motivated individual to work on deal teams analyzing and diligencing investment opportunities alongside senior members of the Investment Team. RESPONSIBILITIES Sourcing and executing on potential investment opportunities Analyzing and presenting opportunities and risks inherent in specific sectors and markets Creation and oversight of valuation analysis, including creation of complex financial models Coordination of internal and external resources to analyze direct investments in real estate assets, real estate private equity funds, direct real estate co-investments and secondary real estate private equity acquisitions Oversight over discussion materials for the Investment Committee Management of closing process QUALIFICATIONS Prior experience in investment banking or investing, ideally with real estate focus Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal Strong quantitative skills; high proficiency with Microsoft Excel and a working knowledge of Argus are a plus Ability to work well in a fast paced team environment Highly organized; attention to detail and excellent follow-through Positive attitude and very strong work ethic Passion for real estate Strong leadership, teamwork and communication skills Required Qualifications CFA CPA JD Required experience: 0 - 2 years Minimum required education: Bachelor's Degree Job category: Investment Banking & Advisory;Production & Operations;Real Estate
