We are a listings based real estate group, specializing in the DUMBO neighborhood, with access to a wide range of high end apartments for rent and for sale.

Opportunity:

RARE is looking hire a full:time Administrative Assistant for our small, but dynamic team. You will have the opportunity to learn Real Estate from top producing brokers and expand your own skill set and network. This person will interact with top tier clientele and be a brand ambassador for RARE. You will work in a fast pace and intimate setting that is driven by collaboration and team work.

Responsibilities:

Provide administrative support to team lead and other team members as needed
Manage calendars and email (Gmail)
Interact and manage client relationships
Answer and direct calls as needed
Track monthly earning reports in Excel
Setup, manage, and maintain contacts, file sharing and presentations
Assist with the administration of leases and related documents, coordinate execution and distribution of materials
Promote RARE brand by creating and managing marketing materials
Execute on marketing strategies (newsletters, events, client gifts, etc.)
Research and identify ways to enhance RARE brand

Tools / Software:

Must be comfortable using a MAC and other Apple products / systems
Proficient in Pages, Keynote, Adobe Photoshop, Microsoft Office
May need to learn squarespace and relevant real estate platforms

Must have and be:

Strong organizational skills and ability to prioritize a variety of time sensitive tasks
Personable and an effective communicator

Flexible to working weekends

High attention to detail and ability to maintain high standards under pressure and time sensitive deadlines
Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information

Other Qualifications:

Years of experience (0:3, recent grads welcome)
College degree not necessary
Prior Real Estate experience is welcome, but not necessary
Sales experience is valued
Prior history at a start:up company or other fast paced environment is valued

Hours:

This position will require you to work 6 days a week (any week day off of your choice). Weekends are required.

Hours are as followed:
M:F: 9am:6pm
Saturday and Sunday: 11am:4pm

When off the clock, you will still be expected to always be accessible via phone and email. There are days your hours may vary or be longer than expected if there are events, big clients, or projects that require more of our time. On the flip side, there will be times that I will dismiss work early on holiday weeks, etc.

You will be given:

2 weeks paid vacation / 5 sick days / 3 personal days / closed for most major holidays (schedule permitting)
Requested start date for this job will be October 1, 2017.
(Potentially earlier depending on availability)
