RESPONSIBILITIES The CRE Analyst is primarily responsible for assisting Loan Officers and Underwriters to originate, evaluate and execute high-quality commercial real estate loans for the Bank's balance sheet. The CRE Analyst will use fundamental finance and credit skills to calculate property level cash flow, determine appropriate debt amounts and assess the overall credit worthiness of a proposed transaction. The CRE Analyst will identify, investigate and escalate credit related concerns or questions. The CRE Analyst will develop relationships with borrowers, potential borrowers, loan brokers and other individuals that drive commercial real estate loan business to the Bank. * Collect and review information to assist Loan Officers and Underwriters to evaluate individual commercial real estate loan opportunities. * Correspond with borrowers and loan brokers to obtain and/or clarify property and borrower related information for new loan origination or existing loan portfolio management. * Collect data and prepare special reports for senior management. * Complete site visits and attend other events on behalf of the Bank. REQUIREMENTS * College degree. * 0-3 years of experience in accounting, finance or real estate. * Ability to multi-task in a fast paced environment. * Strong analytical skills and attention to detail. * Strong communication skills * Self-starter with ability to work independently.
