Construction & Real Estate Advisory Services (CREAS) Manager (Multiple Positions), Ernst & Young U.S. LLP, New York, NY.
Assist real estate, hospitality, and construction companies in increasing operational efficiencies, reducing operational costs and managing business risk. Provide the following service offerings: Strategic Services, Operations and Business Processes, and Infrastructure and Technology. Effectively manage and motivate client engagement teams with diverse skills and backgrounds. Provide constructive on-the-job feedback/coaching to team members. Play an active role in counselling and mentoring junior consultants. Drive high-quality work products within expected timeframes and on budget. Monitor progress, manage risk and ensure key stakeholders are kept informed about progress and expected outcomes. Manage expectations of client service delivery. Cultivate and manage business development opportunities. Develop and maintain long-term client relationships and networks. Demonstrate indepth technical capabilities and professional knowledge. Remain current on new developments in advisory services capabilities and industry knowledge. Demonstrate a thorough understanding of complex real estate concepts.
To qualify, candidates must have the following:
Must have a Bachelor''s degree in Real Estate, Economics, Accounting, Business Management, Finance, Engineering, Management Information Systems, or a related field, plus 5 years of post-bachelor''s, progressive related work experience; OR a Master''s degree in Real Estate, Economics, Accounting, Business Management, Finance, Engineering, Management Information Systems, or a related field, plus 4 years of related work experience.
Of the required experience, 3 years must be relevant Real Estate experience in the capacity of service provider or within the Real Estate investment organization.
Must have a fundamental business process improvement strategy and project management skills.
Must have organizational assessment and business analysis experience.
Must have proven project management, cost estimation and engineering, accounting, schedule, supervision, engineering, procurement, and close-out experience as it relates to complex commercial and/or residential construction management.
Must have willingness and ability to travel approximately 50% to meet client needs.
Must have certification in one of the following: PMP, LEEDS, Professional Engineer, MRIC, FRIC, CCIM, CPA, CIA, CISA, or CMA.
