The Property & Advertiser Solutions team is responsible for monetizing the Yahoo! Network by partnering with our various business units to develop world-class advertising products and programs. This role will leverage strong digital media expertise, creativity and strategic vision to drive video advertising revenue by creating compelling value propositions and communicating persuasive stories to the Yahoo! sales force and our clients. This role will work collaboratively with the video content team on Sports and Screen to create original video programs and provide innovative advertiser solutions.
Key Responsibilities will be:
Work closely with the lead of Y! Finance to execute on the overall property strategy around video programming, particularly original video programming and premium partnerships like our new CNBC relationship.
Partner with the lead of Yahoo! Video/Screen to align with Y! Finance's overall strategy around original programming, channels and branded entertainment.
Collaborating with the Finance Studio and editorial teams on developing original video programs for Y! Finance and delivering go-to-market strategy to sales.
Create media plans, PowerPoint presentations and sales collateral for Y! Finance video programming and sponsorships
* Developing strong relationships with the Y! Finance business units and acting as the video liaison between Y! Finance and the sales force and marketing community.
* Working closely with top clients and agencies to develop customized and innovative branded solutions including: branded entertainment, custom content creation, and integrated programming.
Basic Requirements include:
Deep experience within, and a passion for the online advertising industry
A proven track record translating marketing objectives into results for advertisers
Exceptional understanding of marketing best practices and how to leverage qualitative and quantitative information to create persuasive marketing messages
The ability to manage large customer relationships and manage through conflict, driving groups to collective business decisions
Excellent oral and written communication, negotiation and presentation skills
Experience leading executive level engagements
Essential Job Qualifications
5 years combined brand marketing, media strategy, sales development and/or advertiser agency experience
2 years in advertising space creating compelling marketing solutions, online video experience essential.
Experience working with premium clients across multiple categories.
Good communicator, creative, detail oriented, ability to understand and position
The ability to navigate a large, layered organization
Bachelors Degree
