Relationship Manager
Scope and Impact
* Work in collaboration with VP, Business Development to develop and execute a strategy to provide Business Development Client resources
* Identifies and generates new business; develops and delivers sales presentations in conjunction with VP, Business Development
* Develops customer relations including but not limited to sales leads, research, cold calling, qualifying leads, developing leads, and customer service
* Assuring all existing customers are contacted regularly to ensure customer satisfaction and develop need:based marketing relations
* Follows a sales action plan with objectives and strategies to increase revenue and aggressively acquire new accounts
* Leverages an effective sales presentation that is continually tested and used in the field
* Seeks/creates opportunities to expand business with current clients; identifies further business needs and develops and presents solutions
* Attends conventions, conferences, and trade shows as needed; prepares post:event reports and analysis.
* Ability to work with team members to structure a variety of financial solutions
* Build networking and third:party referral system to maintain pipeline of business
* Responsible for creating reporting and statements

Decision Making Authority
* Support the development and implementation of customized strategies for outreach, site visits, cultivation, solicitation, and stewardship of all prospects and existing capital relationships
* Work with the Marketing team, as needed, to oversee all aspects of Investor/Borrower marketing materials, distribution and tracking, proposal and report development and submission, the coordination of acknowledgments, and other follow:up activities, including coordinating the production of quarterly market reports to disseminate amongst prospects and help generate business
Qualifications
* Bachelors degree and 5 or more years of prior Business Development or related experience with a proven track record of success
* Must be an experienced Closer with strong follow up skills, being highly efficient and energetic
* Strong communications and excellent writing skills with an ability to craft high:quality proposals, reports, correspondence and other capital raising materials
* Proven entrepreneurial experience with demonstrated success working with investors and/or alternative investments
* Excellent interpersonal skills to develop strong and productive relationships with investors, borrowers, the Sharestates executive team and staff
* An entrepreneurial spirit with a demonstrated ability to plan and work independently and flexible in a dynamic environment
* Collaborative nature and ability to work within a team while maintaining accountability and responsibility for goals as an independent individual is critical
