Tax Manager/Sr. Manager (Real Estate) - Karpiak Consulting (New York, NY)

My client, a leading regional CPA firm, is looking for a Tax Manager or Sr. Tax Manager for their Real Estate group. Qualified candidates will be responsible for tax return preparation and review; close interaction with client providing compliance, consulting and planning; assist in client management and practice development activities. Description: Federal and State and Corporate tax returns (S-Corp, C-Corp, LLC's) Coordinate with Client Accounting and Tax departments Gather data and reconcile to financial statements Develop tax package data requests, instruct staff on tax adjustments and implementation of tax application systems. Review tax returns for accuracy, minimization of tax liability, available tax credits, and tax provision. Experience with closely held businesses and pass through entities.
