- Works as a liaison between the creative and business channels of the organization. This includes working with Design, Product Development and Business Units. - Partner with all channels to assess and strategize business opportunities and challenges. - Develop and manage the implementation of seasonal line plans. Must factor the aesthetics of the brand coupled with the business needs. - Drive innovation in the Merchandising process by improving or reinventing new strategic analysis and line planning processes to help us be more efficient. - Analyze sales on a bi-monthly and/or monthly basis to gain comprehensive understanding of the state of the business. Analysis can include delivery flow, end use, price positioning, business unit feedback and sales performance analysis. - Consistently monitor the progress of the line development and current trends to ensure opportunities are maximized and challenges are addressed in timely matter. - Contributes in team effort to build and edit line based on knowledge of business needs, fashion trends and competition. - Maintain updated knowledge of key competitor product, distribution and pricing strategies and best sellers. - Manage other projects or segments of the business as needed.348204 Qualifications Bachelors Degree 3-5 years of experience in corporate merchandising Strong analytical and problem solving skills Excellent attention to detail and prioritizing skills Intermediate to advanced level in all Microsoft Office Suite applications. Excellent communication skills both written and verbal. Experience presenting seasonal lines is a plus.
