Finance Team Lead, FICO (JA)/Melville, NY EY Marchon Melville 4f0c8e8b-add8-0072-e100-80000a6e1829 01/07/2013Original Posting Date: N/APart Time: Essential Functions: Responsible for the full application development life cycle including analysis, design, development, testing, cutover, and go live support for SAP FICO systems. Provides functional design, system configuration and end user support in the Information Technology & Services Department; investigates financial issues Participates in the implementation, testing, rollout and training within the SAP software Analyzes business requirements and develops functional specifications Develop, execute and documents test scenarios and test data; performs required configurations of SAP solutions Prepares program specifications and diagrams and develops coding flowcharts. Lead discussions with the global business teams, analyze, configure and model processes in SAP Train end users on new enhancements or functionality as required and maintain/update user manuals and documentation Collaborate with other areas of SAP integration: WM, MM, SCM, & OTC Responsible for the execution of the detailed design and configuration of the company's business processes with the system Design architecture based on process requirements, application and system landscape Detailed design of AFS industry-specific / corporate business processes based on SAP Description: product-family, ISV-components and specific development, that maps to the current or future process, application, and system landscape, including proposals for software- decisions Analyze and define requirements for specific development needs or integration requirements Design and develop customized reports utilizing technical resources and other tools within SAP Configure and support integration with third party SAP systems and software Review business processes and corresponding mapping into IT architecture Define end user roles to execute process Map and validate performance indicators Provide Level 3 center of excellence support of the Global SAP Competency Center. Complete SAP application migration to production and performance tuning functions Complete all maintenance, upgrade and implementation tasks related to the core SAP applications. Participate in the ongoing SAP implementation project and other cross functional projects as directed Fully documents all procedures and policies associated with SAP programming and system analysis Communicates with business areas as needed Performs all other duties as assigned Note: This job description is intended to indicate the basic nature of positions allocated to this job title and examples of typical duties that may be assigned. Job Specifications; Typically has the following skills or abilities: Bachelor degree from 4 year accredited college or university in Computer Science or equivalent experience and training required 6 to 8 years experience in IT systems 3-5 years of SAP experience in Finance Experience in SAP configuration and business processes in the areas of: A/P, A/R, CO-PA, General Ledger (ECC 6.0 new G/L) Fixed Assets. Strong SAP Functional knowledge including applications technology and data architecture Expertise in all software programs used by the company including MS Office, Access, Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Lotus Notes Excellent analytical capabilities Flexible and able to quickly and effectively change priorities and direction Strong problem solving and issue resolution skills Excellent teamwork and management interaction skills Ability to adapt quickly to new technologies and changing business priorities Ability to operate independently or as part of a team Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships Exceptional interpersonal and communications skills Ability to make and own key decisions, while balancing input from key business stakeholders Strong organization and facilitation skills Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple tasks against set deadlines.
