Bergen Hill, a very busy new seafood restaurant in Carroll Gardens, is seeking a professional and efficient manager. The restaurant is small (30 seats) and doesn't require a full time manager so we are looking for someone who can take on multiple responsibilities. Although this is a full time position the hours will be split between management and bartender/server shifts per week. We are a neighborhood restaurant who prides ourselves on providing fine dinning service and a superior product. This is not just a job; we take it very seriously and are looking for someone who wants the hospitality industry to be his or her career.


Management duties to include but are not limited to: ordering, costing, training, guest service, menu changes and printing, payroll, closing paperwork oversight, DOH & SLA management, etc.

Cocktail and wine knowledge preferred, please reply with a brief description of your experience.

You must be a natural communicator and enjoy engaging with the customer. An eye for detail is a must and a positive attitude under busy and quickly changing conditions. Flexibility is essential.

NYC Health Dept Certificate required
