Position Senior Exchange Server Engineer Location Brooklyn NY Duration 12+ Months 1) The Senior Exchange Server Engineer will be responsible to manage and implement the Cityrsquos hosted mail and messaging system (Microsoft Exchange20072010) and domain architecture 2) Migrating email systems from GroupWise Lotus Notes Exchange 55 2000 2003 and Send Mail to Exchange 20072010 hosted environment using various Quest software 3) Design implementations of Microsoft Exchange 20072010 in a complex environment for other City agenciesentities adding to the rapidly expanding domain of 50000 users 4) Perform upgrades backuprecovery security virus protection spam protection registry active directory editing system implementation performance monitoring and problem solving for project execution in a large complex environment strategic planning functional management and deployment of client software for mail migrations 5) Additional duties will include Development and coordination of training and service delivery for the Exchange messaging system 6) The expansion of the number of agencies requiring centralized email services will generate a volume of work that will require an increase in engineering staff
