Tropical Smoothie Café of Merrick has an opening for a Shift Leader. The position has opportunity for advancement. Help lead our team! This job would include supervising up to 5 people at a time, directing and making sure they follow store procedures while working. Also includes making smoothies, sandwiches and working a cash register. Must be outgoing and friendly. Supervisory experience desired, but not required. 20-38 hours per week.

Essential job functions include, but not limited to, interacting with crew members, customers, and vendors using "Tropitude" (Tropitude is our "mojo" and what makes Tropical Smoothie Cafe fun and different. It means having energy and creating a positive atmosphere). Delivering "Unparalleled Hospitality" to each customer that visits our cafe. Knowledgeable and proficient in each position within the cafe. Successfully completed the Cafe Basics and Certified Trainer Program. Ensures each station is operating to Tropical Smoothie Cafes standards. Trains and coaches crew members during each shift to ensure brand standards are upheld. Uses tools to accomplish goals, manage labor and control inventory. Performs any additional tasks necessary to run the café.
