275000 Windows GuruNinjaBoss (NYCCT) SUMMARY The IT Senior WindowsServer Engineer is responsible for executing the technical vision of the firmrsquos Server PlanBuild team This requires architecting testing tuning and documenting enterprise class solutions for the Microsoft Windows Server Platform Active Directory and Server Infrastructure to enable the firmrsquos business goals The candidate must have handson experience in streamlining and automating both existing and new designs to lower operational cost and increase security While not responsible for implementation as a subject matter expert in Microsoft and Server technology the IT Senior WindowsServer Engineer should be able to act as L3 support and assist in resolving critical issues RESPONSIBILITIES Engineering the standard operating environment (SOE) for the next generation of the firmrsquos Microsoft Windows Server Infrastructure Developing automation solutions to reduce or eliminate administrator ldquotouch timerdquo and allow for greater scale of operations Diagnosing resolving and communicating advanced problems escalated from L2 support Partnering with internal clients and technology leaders to shape the teamrsquos technical vision to maximum benefit for the organization REQUIREMENTS Must have a passion for technology and problem solving as well as a strong security mindset At least 10 years of experience in technology with at least five years of experience engineering enterprise class initiatives Deep knowledge and broad experience with the Microsoft Windows Server Operating System and Active Directory (2003 to present) Experience engineering enterprise class server infrastructure technology preferably Cisco UCS Experience designing and implementing highavailability and disaster recovery solutions across multiple datacenters Solid understanding of storage network and virtual infrastructure technologies Strong scripting skills are required preferably PowerShell or Python Must have excellent organizational verbal and written communication skills including experience writing technical documentation Preferred A working knowledge of UnixLinux operating systems Certifications in Microsoft and other mentioned technologies are a plus Please email infogambitnycom mailtoinfogambitnycom
