alt="Job Summary" /> Class Action Legal Sales Executive Location: new york, ny Category: Other Status: Temporary/Contract Reference: US_EN_2_027740_122547 Salary: N/A Posted: December 08,2009 Reporting to the VP, Class Action Sales and using your knowledge in the arena of class action and mass litigation, you will develop a consultative relationship with current and prospective clients in a designated terrritory or region. We build relationships by offering our knowledge, expertise and first-class service delivery in class action administration services to Plaintiff counsel, Defense counsel and Defendants. Through an established social and professional networks, the successful candidate will develop relationships and sell our services to new and existing clients. Overnight travel is required. You will gather and select sources of information to determine market characteristics and potentials, market share and sales analyses to call on current and prospective clients. By fully understanding client needs and priorities, you can analyze processing requirements and prepare proposals specifically designed to meet those needs. Additional job duties for this position include, but are not limited to the following: Quote prices for services outlined in proposals; Revise or expand prospectus to best meet client needs; Display or demonstrate our products emphasizing the salable features; Prepare sales contracts, write orders and schedule initiation of services; Communicate with your colleagues all special service case requirements; Ensure problem resolution and open communications through the length of the client engagement; Promote and provide additional value-added services to the client outside of those agreed upon and contracted for. Required Background & Skills: A bachelor''s degree from four-year college or university is required. Successful candidates in this position also posess a Juris Doctorate degree and have prior legal sales experience with a track record of success in revenue generation. Ideally, you may have been a plaintiff or defendant attorney for approximately 2-4 years who is interested in utilizing your legal background, but who no longer wishes to practice within a law firm setting. You must have a well-established legal and professional network in order to leverage new business. Further, you must have a high degree of self-motivation and persistence; excellent communication and relationship management skills; entrepreneurial nimbleness balanced with professional acumen; and an appraoch to working as a team. You must be able to travel to a minimum one or two nationwide conferences each quarter. The scope of your territory or region and location of new business opportunities will determine the amount of travel required of this position; however, it is typically completed during the normal business week and you are in control of your own schedule. We are flexible about locating this home-office based position in either the Dallas, Houston or Austin, Texas metropolitan areas.
