Digital Media Planner - Starpoint Solutions (New York, NY)

Boutique digital marketing agency in midtown Manhattan is looking for a motivated and talented Digital Media Planner to support their growing Media department. The Senior Digital Media Planner / Buyer will develop innovative and strategic media approaches that leverage emerging technologies and will be directly involved in the planning and executing of online advertising campaigns for a vairety of their clients. This is a fast paced environment with lots of opportunity to grow, learn and be creative. You will collaborate with multiple departments including Creative, Account and Business Development. Job Responsibilities: Assist with online media research and media buying. Assist with planning, developing, presenting and executing online media campaigns in multiple channels such as: display, PPC, email, lead generation and social media. Consult with clients and other agency staff to establish and achieve specific media goals and objectives. Evaluate media proposals for potential clients by researching demographic data and consumer profiles to identify unique and compelling placements for reaching targeted audiences desired by clients. Provide necessary support in the execution, trafficking, managing and optimization of online media campaigns. Monitor the results of all campaigns to ensure they run smoothly and meet the clients’ goals. Provide campaign reports with results, campaign conclusions and suggested optimizations. Troubleshoot media discrepancies with clients. Maintain and stay current on industry news and research. Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients and publishers. Ability to work closely with team members from both coasts to meet tight deadlines.Background Needed: 3-5 years media experience; digital, some offline good; acquisition marketing preferred. Bachelor’s degree in Advertising, Marketing or Related Program. Superb communication skills: Excellent writing skills: be comfortable and well versed in writing proposals and explaining strategies. Clear and Professionalism in client communications. Strong presentation skillsDemonstrated desire to work in online media B2B experience a plus.
