Mediaplex provides cross-channel advertising technology solutions and services that enable marketers to achieve one-to-one messaging, greater efficiencies and a competitive edge through insightful reporting and analytics. Job Responsibilities:
• Represent the Mediaplex product team on consulting visits with strategic accounts.
• Assess client’s usage of the system and suggest ways to improve performance of marketing programs, leading to higher volume, up-sell of features and services, and additional revenue.
• Work with Account Management to develop strategies for onsite visits and to deliver on follow-up items.
• Demonstrate product expertise by advising clients on how Mediaplex technology can solve specific challenges, including advanced applications of existing technology.
• Analyze online marketing programs by discovering meaningful patterns in client data, generate supportable conclusions, and present findings and recommendations in oral summaries and written arguments.
• Provide high level impact assessments of enhancement requests on the spot. Guide clients and prospects to effective solutions that minimize custom engineering required.
• Act as a technical advocate for assigned clients. Analyze and document product enhancement requests, forward to MBS and Product Management for review.
• Manage (or aspire to manage) custom development and pricing for clients from requirements gathering through production deployment and documentation.
• Provide support to Sales team on prospect demos and RFP responses. Present Mediaplex ASP technology to a wide audience in a live webinar or convention format for prospect pitches.
• Participate in the continuous development and enhancement of sales tools and product documentation.
• Contribute to internal education through documentation of client success stories and by leading product seminars and workshops.
• Manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Requirements:
• BA/BS Required, technical discipline preferred.
• 3-5 years direct technical experience supporting technology platforms as a Business Analyst, Project Manager or Sales Engineer. Experience with ad serving technology is a plus
• Experience in client-facing engagements as sales support or consultant
• Experience with large data stores (files and databases) and the tools used to query them
• Strong presentation and customer-facing social skills
• Strong writing ability to clearly document client challenges and proposed solutions for internal and external audiences
• Strong analytical mind and interest in interpreting data
• Working knowledge of HTML, javascript, and other web technologies is a plus
• Strong in these personal attributes:
o Analytical
o Good communicator (spoken and written)
o Organized, with attention to detail
