Financial Analyst - (New York, NY)

Our client has a opportunity for a Financial Analyst to join their team for their New York City office. This position will have an active role in the monthly reporting and analysis , ad hoc reporting, budgeting, forecasting and projections. RESPONSIBILITIES: * Prepare and review monthly financial reports* Track expenses and revenues vs. budget and reforecast and analyze fluctuations* Handle financial and work alongside with the Accounting & Control departments* Prepare annual financial information * Prepare quarterly operating reports* Assist in the budget & forecast process* Evaluate profit and cost efficiencies in various areas of the organization as needed* Develop, maintain and distribute ad-hoc reports and financial models. QUALIFICATIONS: * Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or Economics required* 4 + years of experience in reporting and financial analysis. * Accounting/GAAP knowledge is highly preferred.* Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office Excel is preferred.* Strong initiative and ability to manage multiple projects* Excellent Communication skills* Strong initiative and ability to manager multiple projects as well as strong follow through skills* Ability to complete projects timely and accurately critical* Must be detail oriented with strong organizational and analytical skills* Ability to work well with others in a fast paced, dynamic environment #LNKDIN118
