Provides all aspects of critical financial support for Global Services including the following: develops annual budgets; provides detailed monthly opportunity / risk analysis; assists with development of long term strategic financial plans; monitors staffing levels and capital expenditures; provides key financial data for presentations to Senior management and Board of Directors; prepares/reviews monthly, quarterly and yearend financial reports, analyses and commentary; supports implementation of Global Services reporting; prepares required reports and performs the necessary tests to ensure compliance with GAAP, Company Policies, SOX and SEC reporting requirements as requested by Corporate Accounting and Internal Audit; participates in special projects as requested.ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES ACCOUNTABILITIES:Preparation of the annual Global Services budget.Financial support includes: Preparing, analyzing and communicating the annual budget process. Schedules and leads frequent meetings to review budget submissions, discuss strategy and provide financial support to the Global Services management team.Prepares and analyzes monthly opportunity risk analysis for Global Services.Financial support includes: Preparing, analyzing and communicating the monthly opportunity risk analysis. Conducts monthly meetings with the Global Services management team to discuss strategy, create forecasts and identify key drivers impacting the business.Provides support analyzing Fixed Assets, Capital Spending and related depreciation for the Global Services functionsFinancial support includes: Working with the Global Services groups and Corporate Finance to prepare Capital Budgets and forecasts, review actual fixed asset activity, monitor capital spending, and prepare depreciation budgets and forecasts. Schedule sand leads frequent meetings to review capital spending, discuss forecasts and understand major variances.Participates in special projects to provide key financial data for presentations to the Global Services teams, Board of Directors, EMC and Senior Management or other projects as needed.Creates and designs financial models using spreadsheets and database applications to improve efficiency and accuracy of analyses, enhance and automate processes and address recurring queries.Participates in special projects and performs other duties as required.In addition to the essential duties and responsibilities listed above, all positions are also responsible for:Meeting company standards pertaining to quantity and quality of work performed on an ongoing basis, performing all work related tasks in a manner that is in compliance with all Company policies and procedures including WorldWide Business Standards.
