Retail Sales Associate, Pop-Up Shop

Sales Associate / Brand Ambassador - for THE GIVING KEYS

New York, NY || Part-Time || Paid

COMPENSATION hourly, working 32 hours a week

Excellence: We are looking for individuals who have drive and ambition to assist our team and launch The Giving Keys’ New York pop-up shop experience.

In this role, you will be on the front line dealing with The Giving Keys’ customers each and every day. Your role is to represent the brand and understand our core store words as you assist our customers and sell the TGK product.

ROLE + RESPONSIBILITIES

Maintain a positive and friendly attitude. Assist customers to find the product that they are looking for. Go “above and beyond” with customer interaction and creating a 1-on-1 relationship. Responsible for processing credit card payments. Keep the floor stocked with the proper product (merchandising). Work with customer support + operations team to help fulfill the occasional online order. Provide feedback to manager on customer questions, feedback, and trends. Ability to be a part of a sales team.

QUALIFICATIONS

Background and experience: Retail experience or hospitality, minimum 1.5 years preferred. Friendly, engaging personality. Confident, helpful, and polite. Clear Communicator. Comfortable working with the public and being in a busy atmosphere.

The brand launched its 1972 Airstream store summer of 2016 and opened its first pop-up retail location in Los Angeles, CA— the city where the brand began— in October 2017, and will open a standalone pop-up shop in New York City starting November 2017
