The Digital & Strategic Sales team at Verizon is hiring a sales strategy lead to help build the strategy responsible for optimizing live channel distribution through digital enablement, including developing the unique framework required for each distribution channel to hit the established sales goals.
This manager Strategic Distribution Strategy role will be responsible for defining and executing initiatives, which enable significant cross-channel digital sales growth of Verizon’s Fios products. This individual will be working closely with colleagues across the digital, D2D, retail, and indirect sales distribution channels.
This role involves partnering with channel leads to formulate a strategy to enable cross-channel digital sales growth while transforming the sales process for the various live channels. Framing and telling the cross channel digital sales strategy to senior executive stakeholders is required. Candidate must work with stakeholders to gather and shape communications, drive alignment on priorities and actions across the digital and channel sales teams to meet sales goals.
We are seeking excellent analytical and strategic thinkers that can build cross channel sales solutions that drive cross channel digital enablement and sales growth This position requires the ability to communicate effectively both verbally and written to senior stakeholders and team members alike. This is a unique role to work within a dynamic group that is driving digital sales transformation inside of a Fortune 15 business.
The ideal candidate for this position must be able turn strategic ideas into action, within a large-scale business environment. Candidate must have an ability to navigate in a large company operational environment, yet possess highly entrepreneurial traits, with deep skills in live channel sales (D2D, retail, OTM) and digital sales. The ideal candidate must exhibit professional, managerial skills, including comfort with presenting to executive leadership teams surrounding the merits of this program. Must have an ability to pitch and convince large groups within a diverse matrix organization, leveraging data visualization or illustrations on operational data, sales data, and complicated business processes. Analyzing sales performance trends and deep sales channel awareness is required, along with monitoring revenue trends.
