Our client uses aggregate subscriber data to help a variety of different clients and agencies to reach their audiences across mobile, online, and television. They have come up with an efficient way to buy, manage, and analyze multi-platform campaigns. Currently one of the top 5 AD Networks in the world (Comscore rated), they have the ability to reach customized audience segments based on demographic, behavioral and psychographic insights for real-time campaign optimization.
Role: We are looking for a dynamic sales executive to help continue our rapid growth and leadership position in the digital (online and mobile) advertising space. This person will be based in New York and will focus on assigned agencies and accounts within the Eastern ad sales region.
Responsibilities: Selling advertising inventory and solutions across their audience network
Lead sales planning teams in the creation of presentations and response to RFP’s that drive solutions that meet advertiser’s goals and challenge them to try new, innovative products / media solutions
Evangelize and prospect into ad agencies, top tier advertisers, and Fortune 500 companies
Coordinate with Sales Operations to oversee proper execution of campaigns and insure alignment with customer objectives
Forecast, track and report sales performance
Drive new revenue generation via lead qualification and prospecting
Meet quarterly revenue targets as set by sales management
Travel to agencies and clients throughout territory
Strong presence and participation with media industry events and professional organizations Requirements: 5+ years advertising experience selling to interactive advertising agencies, search agencies or Fortune 500 companies;
Must have an extensive Internet-based advertising background. Experience selling an audience-based ad solution also desired. Mobile advertising know how is a strong plus.
Solutions based creative thinker who can drive big ideas, while understanding the mechanics of digital advertising technology
Must have existing relationships with Interactive advertising agencies
Must be a self starter, articulate and possess excellent presentation, phone and written communication skills
Advanced skills in Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook and Internet
Strong communication, negotiation and account mgmt. skills. Detail oriented.
Ability to build interdepartmental relationships
BA degree in marketing, communications, or business, desired
