What you’ll be doing...
Verizon Enterprise Solutions is looking for a creative, innovative, organized Social Media Content Manager to lead the brand’s social content strategy and execution. This position will work within the social media team to oversee the curation and creation of VES’s LinkedIn, Slide Share, Twitter, Blog YouTube and community content under the direction of the Sr. Manager, Marketing Communication and Branding. You will play a lead role in developing increased customer engagement focused on growing revenue and awareness specific to Social Media.
Develop content for all pre-planned and real-time social media content across a range of campaigns for our enterprise social channels in accordance with a content strategy.
Plan the monthly content calendar across key social channels (both organic and paid) and produce a weekly content schedule that has an engaging and timely narrative, flows smoothly and brings to life VES’s brand personality and Thought Leadership POV.
Balance in-house content curation and outsourced content curation: Manage a network of internal and external content contributors, reviewing and editing the content on a weekly basis to curate the feed.
Build partnerships with community managers, Influencers, Brand advocates and other engaged audiences
Constantly push creative boundaries in order to generate fresh content that connects with VES’s audience in new ways.
Analyze performance of social content on a weekly basis and continuously optimize the calendar regularly
Own the budget for content creation. Manage and balance the budget each month.
Be the eyes and ears for the team on what’s trending on social media. Take a broader POV beyond just enterprise solutions as to what are the relevant topics of conversation we should be taking advantage of important social discussions.

You work well with stakeholders of all levels under strict deadlines with the demonstrated ability to negotiate win-win solutions across global work streams. The ideal candidate is creative, forward-thinking, and data driven.
- A Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, design or a related field of study, or equivalent experience.
- 6+ years of experience in marketing, marketing communications, B2B social media.
- Relevant experience in managing B2B-specific social media and content programs incl. a deep understanding and documented experience using social media for B2B marketing purposes including the role of Sprinkler, Hoot Suite, Twitter, YouTube, LinkedIn (Navigator/Slide Share), blogs, and other social media platforms in the B2B environment.
- Strong project management skills preferable in marketing or agency settings.
- Superior written and verbal communication and presentation skills.
Aptitude for networking and developing cross functional relationships.
