Studies technical and product-related material and practices using Fluke Networks products in constant effort to keep up to date with new releases. Identifies and performs various tasks to support remote sales resources. Participates in "continuous-improvement" activities to make work flow more efficient and better support customers.
Education: Bachelor's degree required. BS in Engineering, Applied Computer Science or other related engineering discipline from an accredited college or university preferred. Networking industry related course certifications may substitute in some cases. Demonstrated intellectual capability to expand and grow as Fluke Networks solution set increases in breadth and complexity.
Experience: Mandatory at least 10 years minimum successful experience in similar industry in a pre-sales or technical support role.
Job Complexity:
Work is performed with minimal direction and supervision. Has significant latitude in determining work objectives and goals. Outside and inside contacts made with limited or no supervision on significant matters requiring tact and interpretation of the policies, procedures, and product information. Held accountable to quarterly and annual sales goals as part of sales team.
