The VP of Sales’ office includes stunning parking lot views, a Sales team in mint condition, and it runs great! Looking for an inspired leader with insatiable drive for success to pick up the reins and maximize CCO’s potential in the market. PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES Managerial • Build talented sales team through recruiting, hiring, onboarding, training, managing, coaching and motivating with the goal of achieving sales and revenue targets. • Drive results through others by managing team performance and holding them accountable against expectations. • Providing training, coaching and feedback (through observations and data) and consistent processes (including annual goal setting and performance targets) to create a high performing team â¢Â Clarify expectations by implementing and maintaining managing routines and operational rigor (for example, Sales metrics, performance objectives, dashboards, Team Meetings, 1:1 Meetings, delegated activities.) â¢Â Review and approve pricing for proposals â¢Â Work with business partners to ensure efficient operations, provide input, and resolve issues (Operations, Marketing, Finance, as needed) â¢Â Providing budget input and then manage and attain budget revenue objectives for the branch â¢Â Support corporate reporting, data needs and requests, communications, and paperwork (as required) Â Strategic â¢Â Build strategic relationships with clients and other internal and external stakeholders through regular and ongoing communications â¢Â Create and implement strategies (for example, vertical targeting) that position CCO to win against outdoor competition and other media. â¢Â Review and leverage industry data and market analysis to identify target customers, including generating new business and deepening existing business â¢Â Create demand for out-of-home products by packaging the right inventory and creative, coaching AEs on business development efforts, and leading business development activity in the market â¢Â Proactively manage branch inventory, rate, and occupancy to maximize profitability and drive revenue â¢Â Conduct rate and occupancy analysis and planning to balance customer needs with company revenue management objectives â¢Â Share CCO vision around branch direction and goals, both internally and externally â¢Â Lead the team and organization through change Sales â¢Â Train and coach AEs on sales model and skills; Participate in sales calls, and provide ongoing feedback to develop AEs and to ensure consistent performance â¢Â Develop the regional export business, and assign accounts to the sales team for recurring activity and new business development/growth â¢Â Implement and manage a disciplined, consistent and rigorous sales process using appropriate tools (ie PSS Sales methodology, SalesForce.com) â¢Â Translate sales strategies into specific branch plans that derive and meet/exceed revenue goals â¢Â Resolve customer and business issues, perform root cause analysis, and drive solutions (as needed) Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities â¢Â Ability to leverage data and analysis and balance Risk and Reward in decision making, especially in regard to pricing tools and analytics, Financial acumen and budgeting skills â¢Â Ability to balance customer needs with company profitability â¢Â Ability to manage and lead a team, including recruiting, hiring, and training; motivating and inspiring and coaching to improve performance results â¢Â Collaborate with and leverage Branch President, department heads, other branch sales managers, corporate contracts and consultants â¢Â Strong project management and organizational skills; ability to implement and sustain operational rigor over time and hold people accountable to results â¢Â Professional and credible presence and ability to interact with clients â¢Â Ability to communicate clearly (both written and verbally), listen and collaborate and influence others â¢Â Ability to prioritize and manage time (balance the important with the urgent), and implement structured, disciplined management routines. â¢Â Knowledge of sales and selling processes, and ability to coach and develop others around them â¢Â Ability to create and leverage an external network of professional and community contacts who are beneficial to the business â¢Â Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite â¢Â BA or BS degree or higher, and/or combination of equivalent work experience and education â¢Â 3+ years of sales management experience Core Competencies â¢Â Results Focus and Action Orientation: Create accountability, allocate resources, and drive for results;
