All of our artists and piercers are licensed by the Department of Health of Nassau County. Feel free to inquire about any of the items listed below. Check the autoclave and sterilization certifications Check that the artist wears protective gloves Check artist certifications Make sure that the equipment is clean/new. Ointments, ink, and water should be taken from separate containers Cleanliness counts: Tattoo parlors are becoming more mainstream, but don't take it for granted that the place is clean. Ask for a tour and be discriminating when deciding about the cleanliness and quality of the establishment. Sterile needles should be taken from an autoclave bag in front of you. After use the needles should be disposed of appropriately. Fresh inks: Colors come from inks, and every ink should come from a bottle that's poured into a small cup specifically for your tattoo. Just as you don't want to share needles, you don't want to share inks. If ink remains after a tattoo has been completed, it should be thrown away. Check to see examples of artist designs, and also pictures of finished designs. Also, feel free to call us if you have any questions we will be happy to help you (516) 488-8282 Tattoos are a creative means of self expression. Throughout history people have used permanent body art and body piercing to display their individuality, their heritage, their history. Tattoos offer the ability to express your individuality in a manner that is uniquely you, depending on the design and placement of the work. If you are looking for custom work an appointment is needed. Before you make an appointment be sure to bring in a few pictures of what you are looking for. This way the artist will have a better understanding of exactly what you are looking to get. Verbal descriptions are not a good idea because you may be thinking one thing and the artist something totally different. When you bring in your pictures we will take your name, phone number and a small deposit. Once the picture is complete and ready for tattooing we will give you a call so that you can come by to see it. When you come to look at the picture and you like it, that is when you can make the appointment to do your tattoo. If custom tattoos are not something you are looking for we have a large selection of designs to pick from. Feel free to come in and look around. We are open at 1:00 till 8:00 pm Monday - Saturday. `````````````````````````````````````````````````````````````````````````` We are all licensed by the Nassau County Department of Health
