Account Supervisor, Consumer Technology, NYC PR Agency - PR Talent (New York, NY)

NYC mid-size PR agency has a need for an Account Supervisor, Consumer Technology. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, planning, campaign creation and management; cultivating and enhancing relationships with key media, influencers and bloggers; developing and implementing strategic and original PR campaigns; presentation creation, and strategic media materials. Additional responsibilities include identifying publicity opportunities that uniquely align with client objectives, brand essence and goals, managing team members on campaign execution, managing budgets and tracking/merchandising results. Candidates should have 5-7 years of public relations agency experience, with technology focus. We're looking for a strong, results focused candidate with exceptional media relations and writing skills, creative thinking abilities, top notch people skills and the initiative to conduct a program from concept through execution and follow-through. Candidate must be a self-starter with excellent time management and organization skills, be very detail oriented and have a reputation for flawless execution. Ideal candidate will also have a strong understanding of visual communications (infographics, video, images), how social media is driven by news media and vice versa, working knowledge of the main social media channels (Twitter, Facebook, LinkedIn, Pinterst, Tumblr, etc), and basic understanding of survey-based research and social media analytics.
