The role is responsible for defining and executing IBM''s cloud security services strategy and portfolio. Initiatives may include development and expansion of IBM''s Security as a Service (SaaS) offerings, development of IBM''s ''clean pipes'' strategy, and integration of security services for IBM''s SCE+ cloud services. The offering manager will serve as a Subject Matter Expert on cloud security and will be called upon to support client meetings, public speaking engagements and enablement sessions. Participation in cross brand cloud computing working groups and external cloud security standard bodies will also be an important aspect of the offering manager''s role. Strategic initiatives may span multiple security disciplines and will require collaboration and interaction with partners and internal teams such as IBM Research, SWG, GTS Cloud and IBM''s CIO office. Responsibilities: * Define and execute upon IBM''s cloud security services strategy and offering roadmap * Act as a Subject Matter Expert for IBM Security Services on the topic of Cloud Security, supporting internal and external thought leadership initiatives * Interact closely with customers, sales, analysts and senior leadership to obtain a detailed understanding of business and market requirements * Translate requirements into initiatives based on analysis of strategic value, business impact, market attractiveness, and required investment. * Identify and champion strategic research initiatives that will advance the portfolio or enable access to new routes to market. * Complete research as required and present findings with prioritized next steps, including budget and resource allocations required. * Coordinate work streams necessary to action research findings and provide regular status updates. * Support cross-brand strategic initiatives to expand Security Services visibility and IBM's overall security capabilities.
