Contractor Sales Manager - Western PA, NY State (minus NYC, Long Island) (Building Products) - Gaco

Gaco Western is seeking a driven high-performing Contractor Sales Manager to cover Western Pennsylvannia and New York state. Territory does not include NYC or Long Island.
Responsibilities
Travels throughout assigned region to call on regular and prospective contractors, building owners and building managers. Property management groups as well as roofing distribution facilities are also targets.
Generate leads through lead service programs and responsible to follow and pursue viable prospective projects. Develop own set of leads through local contacts and the promotion process.
Manage ongoing sales process, develops relationships, responds to and anticipates customer needs. Ability to close sales.
Represent Gaco Western at local and regional trade shows.
Meet or exceed annual sales and gross profit quota
Responsible for the territory P&L statement
Available to travel frequently and represent the company in a professional manner.

EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE AND/OR SKILLS REQUIRED:
BS in Management, Sales or Marketing required
Three to five years experience in sales is preferred
Strong track record in building business and increasing sales
Experience in coatings and construction preferred
Must possess excellent customer service skills and effective time management skills
Ability to communicate effectively with both verbal and written communication
Strong technical skills, including MS Office suite
Must be able to travel 50% of time
