Full Charge Bookkeeper / Financial Controller - The Forum Group (Long Island City, NY)

Our client is an established electrical contracting company located in Long Island City. They are currently seeking a Full Charge Bookkeeper/Financial Controller for their department. This is an excellent opportunity to join a growing firm and get great exposure to upper management! As the Full Charge Bookkeeper/Financial Controller you will be responsible for all day-to-day bookkeeping duties including: - Journal Entries - Bank Reconciliations - Account Analysis and Quarterly Tax Payments - Monthly close - Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable - Union Payroll The right candidate will have prior Construction experience as well as experience with Timberline systems. This firm is looking for a “hands-on” individual who can roll up their sleeves and hit the ground running! Requirements: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or similar preferred 10-15 years of relevant experience Timberline software experience MUST have prior Construction experience! Excellent communication skills Team player
