Title: Loss Prevention Analyst Location: Americas-United States-New York Job Number:_121595 POSITION SUMMARY: Support the Loss Prevention strategy through the design and execution of actionable analytics in a vendor managed environment. Primary purpose of the Loss Prevention Analyst is to analyze and examine POS data, highlight trends and monitor incident reports to identify point-of-sale (POS) activities which are out of compliance with company protocol and compose reports on findings Key function includes supporting the overall Loss Prevention initiative by facilitating investigative data on internal/external theft, policy violations and/or fraudulent activity. Develop a working partnership with Retail Store Development, Education and the Brands to identify anomalies from the POS and to provide actionable data identifying fraud or non-compliance activities KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: Understand the Corporate Roadmap and Brand strategies; inclusive of retail policy and procedures Prepare actionable analytics identify trends and exceptions affecting retail stores in areas such as theft, fraud, and resulting in financial loss Maintain current exception parameters, ad hoc queries on an as needed basis to fit the immediate and changing needs of the department and Brands. Provide risk exposure analysis and recommending improvements in processes and procedures. Data extraction, manipulation and analysis to derive key insights and support departmental initative to drive data-based business decisions. Provide investigative support to LP Directors by analyzing trends and anomalies while ensuring proper documentation of all findings for assigned cases or inquiries Drives innovation by staying current with industry trends and by maintaining strong relationships with business partners, industry peers and by participating in industry meetings, conferences and professional organizations. Bachelor''s degree or preferred experience Strong proficiency in statistical modeling and forecasting. Strong quantitative, qualitative, analytical and organizational skills required. Commitment to teamwork and partnerships. Strong proficiency in all MS applications (i.e., Word, Power-Point, Excel, Access, etc.) Effective communication and presentation skills.
