(Universal Music Group is curently seeking a Production Logistics Specialist in our New York, NY office location:
Reporting to the Director of Production Logistics, the Specialist position concentrates on maintaining the financial data integrity of Atlas, Global Tables and R2 for all US labels. This individual will develop a thorough understanding of the existing business processes and various systems used (including Atlas, Global Tables, Milestone, GDRS, and WRAPS) in order to facilitate proper financial and revenue reporting. This position requires a high level of detail-orientation, organization, and strong computer skills.
Responsibilities of the position:
- Update all Financial/SAP data on projects, releases, and resources in R2 on behalf of the Central Accounting group
- Carry out all project move requests in Atlas/R2 on behalf of Production Logistics
- Assume the Global Tables/R2 Generic project step role in the Atlas label routing for all US label requests
- Compile, maintain, and distribute artist roster data for the monthly UMG roster
- Assist the Director with data clean-up on all three levels of Atlas through extensive research and interfacing with the various label and central operations departments
- Execute any additional data entry into scheduling system(s) on behalf of distributed labels for special projects (e.g., mass entry of catalog)
- Perform user acceptance testing when necessary for Atlas, Global Tables, Milestone, GDRS, and WRAPS
- Assist with Atlas set up of distributed labels' projects for R2/SAP purposes
- (Back-up) North American super user for the Global Tables Application
- (Back-up) Administer Business Affairs Verification/Synching of Artists in R2 for P&D and International artist rosters in Atlas
- (Back-up) Daily project administration for North American project requests in Atlas/R2
- General administration for Milestone and GDRS, as needed (i.e., adding price codes, digital rush requests, ad-hoc reports and data analysis, etc.)
- Specific projects as assigned by Director and Senior Manager
