Career Level Experienced City New York U.S. State, China or Canada Provinces New York Country United States Responsibilities Role Purpose The SAP Security Lead is responsible for assisting the HRIS Operations team in the planning and designing of software and SAP applications. The SAP Security Lead aids in supporting projects from design to testing, including new programs, enhancements, and modifications. The SAP Security Lead collaborates with the Quality Assurance team to conduct testing. The SAP Security Lead will work in teams which may include exempt and non-exempt employees as well as provide Tier 2 subject matter guidance to employees as required. Responsibilities * Supports the HRIS Operations team in developing and implementing an SAP security solution in support of strategic business goals. * Troubleshoot existing user roles, security objects, authorizations, provisioning workflows, risk analysis, batch jobs, etc. to resolve issues in SAP Security * Perform regular system audits to detect deviations of established procedures, role mapping, unauthorized system activity, and report findings * Provide segregation of duties remediation and control support using SAP Security Weaver. * Coordinates with the SAP Center of Excellence team to deploy new and updated SAP security solutions. * Maintains awareness and knowledge of new theories and methods relative to SAP and security issues to provide suitable interpretation to Directors, Managers and Employees within the organization * Evaluates strategies and programs to measure the achievement of established goals and metrics * Oversees the planning and designing of software applications, including new programs, enhancements, and modifications * Directs implementation initiatives for new software products and applications. * Organizes software update process for existing applications and coordinates the roll-out of software releases * Manages all the deliverables to ensure adherence to deadlines, specifications, and budgets * Implements performance metrics and prepares periodic reports.
