Senior Manager, QA EngineeringJob Description ESPN Digital Media is seeking a Senior Manager of QA Engineering who will be responsible for leading a newly formed QA engineering team. The QA engineering team will work closely with the existing QA team to support automated testing for products for ESPN.com including Fantasy, WatchESPN, live and automated products across all platforms. The ideal candidate for this position has had extensive QA and development experience and can apply that experience into leading a group and defining the automation testing strategy. Anywhere.Responsibilities - Perform manual and automated system testing of digital media products across all devices and browsers- Work closely with the manual QA testing group to optimize efficiency- Work closely with the development team to design test plans, strategies and automation framework- Define job responsibilities, lead, train and build a team of QA engineers- Continuously improve and optimize testing processes and procedures- Define an overall automated QA strategy including software, tools, budget and reportingBasic Qualifications - Passion for sports and technology- Development and engineering experience, preferably with a consumer-oriented company developing highly-scalable products- Minimum of 6 years of experience with Java, JavaScript, HTML, SQL- Minimum of 7 years of experience with Quality and Software Development processes; agile methodology is a plus- Minimum of 2 years of test automation experience with a variety of tools- 2+ years of project management experience of digital media products- A successful track record of leadership- Must have excellent attention to detail and organizational skills- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with both technical and non-technical staffRequired Education - Degree in Computer Science or EngineeringJob Posting Industries TelevisionAdditional Information Imagine a career with an organization that brings smiles to millions every day.
