The charming kitchen with skylights is fully equipped with all of the necessities to prepare a home-cooked meal. The kitchen includes a refrigerator, dishwasher, tile floor, gas oven/stove, microwave, coffee pot, kettle, many utensils,

The main extra-large bedroom has a queen-size bed, an IPOD alarm clock docking station, an ottoman, skylights and two closets.

The childrens room has a crib and a toddler bed, changing table, toys, games, books and more.

The wide streets of Carroll Gardens are lined with maples, pin oaks and gingkos shading the small lawns and gardens that provide oases between asphalt and brownstone, close to all restaurants, shops, parks, and dog walk.

The quiet residential but lively neighborhood of Carroll Gardens, Brooklyn main thoroughfare, Court Street, is known for its Italian food stores is peppered with small family-run shops where one can buy fresh pasta, cheeses, breads and pastries is only 1 block away.

Despite a plethora of places to buy great Italian meals, the neighborhood is not known for fine dining out. But among its more popular, moderately priced restaurants are Marco Polo, at Court and Union Streets, and Nino Pizzeria, a lunchtime favorite on Henry Street.

French restaurants (Restaurant Row on Smith Street,) cafes, cabarets, boutiques. You have Jolie Cantina, serving the unique mix of French - Mexican food, as well as Shelsky's Smoked Fish or nearby gourmet groceries, supermarkets, delis and convenience stores like 301 Smith St Deli and Smith Union Market.

The streets are clean and lined with trees and flowers. It is a friendly and trendy atmosphere, a ten minute walk from Downtown Brooklyn and the Brooklyn Heights Promenade, ten minute drive from Downtown Manhattan.The subway is one block away: F-train will take you to Manhattan in 15-20 minutes. We are near the border of the Brooklyn neighborhoods of Boerum Hill and Gowanus.

It is only 2 subway stops to the Polytechnic Institute of NYU and 1 subway stop to where you can catch a bus to the local IKEA. Also in the neighborhood are a Trader Joe's, pharmacies and a nearby laundromat. Cobble Hill Cinemas is located on Court Street at Butler Street, a great little movie theater that not only plays the biggest box office hits, but independent and foreign films as well. Come here on a Tuesday or Thursday for some great ticket deals! Also on Court Street is Buttermilk Channel, a trendy restaurant that serves new American cuisine for brunch and dinner. For hardier fare, try Frankie's 457, an Italian restaurant renowned for its pasta.

Public transportation is also conveniently located with the F that will take you to Manhattan in only 4 stops! and G subway station to northern Brooklyn and Queens. on Smith Street and at the Union Street / 4 Avenue Station (5 blocks) there is access to the R train.
