Newly renovated fully furnished log cabin includes 3 bedrooms w/sleeping loft plus 2 full baths sleeps 8 comfortably. Perfect cabin for leaving your cell phone and stress home and relaxing with all the beauty the NY Adirondacks has to offer. Escape from those hot city nights and your air conditioning to cool country nights filled with lake breezes sleeping under a cozy quilt.
Rate is $1,950 per week Saturday to Saturday Weekly rentals only in the summer months. $750 for weekends 2 nights available in spring, fall & winter.
The camp is nestled in the SW Adirondack Mountains in Stratford, NY on a pristine quiet wild lake 100 feet from the back porch. It's a convenient 4 hour drive from midtown NYC, a 3 1/2 hour drive from Boston, a 1 hour drive from Albany and a 1 1/2 hour drive from Syracuse.
The cabin sits on 2 acres with the lake as the back yard and gardens and the wild Adirondack forest as its other border. The property and area abounds with hiking trails for wildlife watching that includes deer, bear, partridge, moose, geese, mallards, loons, bald eagles, hawks, owls and more. Large mouth and small mouth bass, pickerel, perch and salmon fishing in the lake outside the door. Trout stocked streams are a short drive from the camp for the fly fishing enthusiast.
This pristine lake leads and connects to three other lakes for endless boat, canoe and kayak trips. Noise level is mostly from the loons, geese and bull frogs. The cabin is a 1 hour drive to The Saratoga Race Track, SPAC, Cooperstown Baseball Hall of Fame and Turning Stone Golf and Resort Casino. The camp includes the following: 3 Bedrooms all done and decorated in NY Adirondack style with maximum comfort in mind.
