It never ceases to amaze me how short our memory is as Americans. Super Storm Sandy came and went, and people have already forgotten about it. That's true except for the people who survived the Super Storm and are still struggling to find some normalcy in their lives.

Father in Queens, NY who lost his home and everything he once owned and worked hard to purchase (including professional outfits) around the time of Hurricane Sandy, also lost his job just a week after the Super Storm. He didn't sit around crying. He went out and found a new job a month after the Super Storm hit. His wife is disabled and his children rely on him for everything. He is a good father who has always worked hard to give his family all that they need. He has never turned his back on his children, and now with all of this will have to work much harder to take care of the wife and kids. Just as they were beginning to get back to somewhat of a normal life, this man finds out that he is being laid off from his night job because the company is selling and the new owner is relocating outside of NY. Imagine where his spirit is now that he has lost his job and is desperately looking for someone to take him serious.

It is now time to start looking for a new OVERNIGHT job. The family is still displaced, living in a, efficiency apartment (studio apartment) and sleeping on air mattresses. We are trying to help him pull himself and the kids out of this hole. Money is welcome, but if you cannot give cash then please try to give this father some professional attire to use for his new job search. Cash also accepted of course. The details for the clothing are listed below.

Here is a detailed list of what is needed:
***1. For the father and job seeker:
Business suits, new or used, size 38 Short
Business shirts, new or used, size 15 1/2, 32-33
Business ties, new or used, all colors
Shoes, new or used but still presentable, size 9
Dress Belts, new or used

For the family:
Cash, check or money order that can be mailed or dropped off in person.

Thank you and may your support bring you and your loved ones many blessings.
