Are any of you girls (ages 33 to 43) out there and interested? We got an offer for regular gigging (if all goes well) at a bar in Suffolk and another possible gig(s) at one in merrick if we put members of our old band together, so we did. We have some vox as is and a list of songs we use to do, now we want a female vox to lead and allow us to expanded to do female fronted covers. Must be uninhibited - we will need you to sing some male fronted/androginous subjected music; must be drug-free/alcohol abuse-free, non-smoker prefered; a team player - no divas. Must be serious - reliable, punctual, and mature - don't cancel repeatedly, Rhythm gtr and bass are coming NYC. Above all, be able to sing - really sing - don't bullshit us, or be a Gong Show mockery. We'll rehearse out of Center Moriches once a week, so you should either live in Suffolk or eastern Nassau, or willing to co-commute from a distance. You meet with 4 gentleman . . . seasoned veterans, serious about this project - this is classic rock and probably some blues (60's/70's'80's; 90's?)mostly if not all covers. Full time wife/mother/girlfriend OK - just be undoubtedly certain you can commit to one day a week, and do your homework (practice and loearn the material) No hired guns.
