Production team is searching for three (3) female Asian* singers for a project involving the creation of an Asian female vocal group (i.e.: SWV, Destiny's Child, etc.) and/or individual artist for presentment to European record company(s). If project is not accepted by initial record company, producers will "shop" concept to interested parties in the industry with objective of obtain deal.

Hence, we are searching for individuals who meet the following qualifications:

(1) 18-25 years of age. Re age, exceptions will be made depending on talent, ability, image, etc.

(2) Must submit (digital) photographs to be submitted for review. Photographs should include two (2) head shot and two (2) full body shots. Images should also reflect characteristic in item #4, below.

(3) Must submit sound file (or CD) containing two songs showcasing the individual's capabilities. Although sound quality does not have to be "pristine", but should be of good quality. Song choice should contain contemporary R&B or Pop styles (no show tunes) and sung in English, only.

(4) Candidates must have singing experience (i.e.: school choir, karaoke, band, etc.); Those with advanced experience will be given immediate consideration.

(5) Must be photogenic and possess sexy image; Candidate(s) should be comfortable wearing sexy clothing (i.e.: plunging neckline, see-thru, no bra, etc.).

(6) IMPORTANT: Must possess professional attitude and work habits (i.e.: punctuality, courteousness, committed, timely follow-ups, etc.).

(7) Although there will be no initial compensation re this project, candidates will not pay any fees.

(8) Must have flexible time schedule and willing to travel for rehearsals.

(9) Candidates must be able to submit photos, biography and demo CD (if available) for review and consideration. Those sending complete press kits (package containing biography, demo, image(s), press reviews, etc.) will be given priority consideration.

(10) Candidates in interested in this project must be 150% committed and focused on completing this project. Those with school/job/personal schedules, (demanding) significant "others", children, other careers, etc. will be responsible for maintaining their own "personal management" issues.

(11) Although there is a marketing strategy re imaging, the producers are ALSO committed to the creation of an artistic musical quality statement, as well.

(12) Studio facilities are located in Jamaica section of Queens, therefore, candidates must be willing to travel to location for recording, rehearsal, meetings, etc.

UNLESS YOU ARE ABLE TO COMPLY WITH THE ABOVE REQUIREMENTS, PLEASE DO NOT APPLY FOR CONSIDERATION TO THIS AD.

PLEASE NOTE: Candidates must present images and sound file(s) (i.e.: mp3, .wav, etc.) for consideration. Submissions sent which do not include items #2 and #3 above will not be considered and immediately "trashed". As this is a business venture, those who do not adhere to professional standards (see #6, above) will be immediately released from this project at the producer's discretion.

* Candidates from other ethnic backgrounds will be considered depending on expertise and ability. The record company is primarily interested in an Asian group as alternative to existing R&B/Pop groups, but is willing to consider alternate ethnic groups is team is unable to fulfill primary objective.

Thanks to the success of past endeavors, we are auditioning vocalists within the following genres: Pop, R&B, and Contemporary Christian. More specifically, we will be producing:

1. A Pop Trio (Female)
2. A Pop Solo Artist (Male)
3. A Pop Solo Artist (Female)
4.. An R&B Solo Artist (Gender Open)
5. A Contemporary Christian Solo Artist (Gender Open)

The purpose for the auditioning is to better gauge the viability for success of the prospective
vocalist(s). A subsequent audition will then be scheduled for final selection. Artists within the aforementioned categories will be selected by January 9, 2010; at which time the recording process will commence. The anticipated release dates vary (contingent upon genre), but all are slated for 2010 album releases.

Auditions will be held on Tuesday, December 8th and 15th: (December 8th in Manhattan [] and the 15th in Westchester County (25 minutes from Manhattan).
Do Not be intimidated by the competitive nature of this process; it's simply the nature of the business: I am looking for raw talent; presence/personality; diligence; and the willingness to learn: more so than a catalog of "qualifications"

Hello Fellow Vocalists,

Blues Evolution is recording a second CD, and one of the tunes is a secular but gospel sounding song that is begging for the sound of a large choir. Well, we can’t pull that off, but we can try to simulate a choir by overdubbing a variety of voices singing each part. We would love your involvement.

Our most immediate need is for HIGH SOPRANO. THE HIGHEST NOTE IS HIGH G (an octave plus a 5th above middle C that sits on the space on Top of the treble clef. It is the last note possible that is still connected to the staff before you need ledger lines.) We need someone who can hit most of the notes clustered around High E with confidence, tone and of course accuracy. Finally we want it to have some soul and sound like church.

Although we have lately been focusing on locating a soprano voice, we really need voices in all ranges and with various styles. However, YOU MUST HAVE ACCESS TO a PROTOOLS compatible computerized home recording software system to participate on this recording.
